ACT 6.0 registration problem

Windows 2003 Domain with ACT! 6.0 database on server.  One client hard drive crashed...rebuilt workstation and installed Act.  Entered license key and the program runs when logged into the workstation as administrator but when I log into the workstation as a user, the ACT! program asks me to register the software and I can't get it registered through the Internet.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The registration servers for ACT! 6.0 were as Symantec and have long since been de-commissioned

Just select to print the registration

Thanks!  But when I do that, I get the registration printed and then ACT! doesn't open.  I called ACT! for help and they said they have no record of my serial numbers so they can't help me.

What do you mean "ACT! doesn't open"?
What happens?

C++ 11 Fundamentals

This course will introduce you to C++ 11 and teach you about syntax fundamentals.

The program simply closes.

I launch ACT and it says I have to register at this time, so I click the button to register over Internet and I fill out the information and then I click submit.  Then it tells me the computer isn't connected to the Internet and to check my dial-up settings in control panel.  (The computer is connected to the Internet without any problems).  I then have the only button available: "register later."  When I click that, ACT closes.

If I run the program logged into the domain administrator profile, the system *doesn't* tell me I have to register and I can open the database.

Like I said DO NOT use Register over the Internet.

Those servers do not exist any -longer and ACT! can't find them so it thinks it's not connected to the internet.

Click to Print the registration

Ok...(forgive me for sounding stupid) but, then what?  Act! closes and won't run unless it's registered...will printing the registration and mailing it in to the ACT company enable the program to work?  ACT! tells me they have no record of my serial numbers....

As I said... just Print the registration and trow it out. It doesn't need to be sent anywhere
