Crystal Reports 2008 2 tiered parameter selection

I am attempting to build a multi-format report and ideally what I would have would be an initial parameter prompt where the user would select which style of report to run and then once selected would be prompted for report specific parameters, I was curious if this was even possible.

Example:
Parameter selection 1:
BOM report --> (Parameters specific to BOM report like Part#, etc...)
Open Inv. --> (Parameters specific to Open Inv. like Date range, job# etc..)

So first screen would be report selection then a second screen or a dynamic list of specific parameters would appear.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not that i'm aware of. The way i tend to achieve a similar result is to put default values against all parameters. The end user will still see the prompts but can skip filling them out.

To do that you will need an application that shows the available reports then allows the user to enter the parameters for those reports.

Thanks guys,

I was afraid that was the case but I thought it best to ask just in case.
