Networking job future in Cloud

Is there any benefit in getting a CCNA with Cloud Computing gaining serious traction?

What is the unbiased opinion for Networking jobs if Cloud becomes mainstream?

If Cloud becomes more of a reality than it already has been for years, what type of skills, certification or IT jobs would be prudent to pursue?

I have my CCNA, and it was great for learning the basics of network communication, protocols, packet contents.  Its a great first step, and one of those certifications that you see a lot of employers requiring.

Take a look at the course outlines:

http://tools.cisco.com/GlobalLearningLocator/courseDetails.do?actionType=executeCourseDetail&courseID=5118&qual=CCNA

The other thing is that if you decide to go further into the Cisco ISP, Security, Wireless, etc., you can use the CCNA as a stepping stone.  Or, if you decide to take a different vendor's certs, you mostly just need to learn their specific technology.

Totally recommended.

the cloud infrastructure is heavily dependent on the network, so expect demand for network pros to remain stable, or even increase.
