Sharing Printers across Sub nets - Windows 2003 Domains

I have a printer connected to a .local (win 2003 Svr) and I am trying to share it across Subnets to PC's on another .local domain. The Printer needs to used on both domains.
All subnet firewall issues have been addressed, the problem is that the Printer is able to be mapped to PC's via Group Policy in domain B but PC's or the DC cannt print to it, I am wondering if I need to put in some root hints of Forwarders in DNS  to cover this?
the Printer is printing by IP and is on Domain A's subnet.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
