"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi sanjeevkmrs

No antivirus alone can give 100% protection.

Anti-Virus is good when preventing scripts on websites from downloading and installing virus'. However, when your users intentionally download something and execute it, your PC will allow it (because it's being executed by the user rather than a service account.

Escalate this issue to Symantec Endpoint protection support technical team if the Virus/Spy-ware were not detected or caught ( quarantine) by product, its there duty to provide solution else we wouldn't trust the product.

Because they claim protects against zero-day threats

Couple of questions?

Are your virus definiitions on the client up to date?
How are they getting infected?
What are the scheduled scans and real time scans showing?

This sounds like someone might be doing something they are not supposed to (p2p downloads)
