for cisco 3600 router what is the maximum flash size i can have physically installed?

hi
i have two 3600 series routers and want to install new ios which is 34MB in size and currently i have 32 MB flash only inside the router
what is the best way to install this ISR ios inside my router .
i am planning to buy more flash for the same routers but dont know can i fit more flash inside the router or not
i saw inside the router there are only two slots for flash in which currently two flash of 16 mb installed

how would i know the exact router model? as on body its says only 3600 series router

paste the "sh ver" command output. also, "sh hardware inv" would be helpful. If this has 2 slots, would 3620, for 4 slots would be 3640 so on.... .. need to confirm.

for 3640 and 3660, you can have max of 20megx2= 40 meg pcmcia flash. cisco do not offer more than 20 meg. You can have multiple of 4-, 8-, 16-, or 20-MB only.

you cannot touch/play/do anything with system flash. It's not removable, it's fixed in the 3640 motherboard. So, if you need extra flash space to accommodate your ios, you got to purchase 2 20meg pcmcia flash memory card. System flash are fixed and non-removable in most hardware (if not all).

on 3620 and 3640, the system in-built flash memory (dual SIMM) can max accommodate max of 16x2=32 meg and in 3660, it can be 32x2=64.

btw, SIMM's are removable, but unfortunately you cannot increase. External flash is the only answer i guess.
