VSS event id 12290

I am getting VSS event ID 12290 on a MS server 2k3 standard SP2 machine. I have looked through a bunch of forums and found that alot of people were getting this error while running SP1 and there was a hotfix to patch that or just to apply SP2 and even when going to download the hotfix in

it has SP1 listed as the OS choice.

The error

Volume Shadow Copy Service warning: GetVolumeNameForVolumeMountPointW( '\\?\Volume{434495ad-9bbb-11d8-a822-806e6f6e6963}\'): 0x00000003.  hr = 0x00000000.

Help please.
