HTTP Service not starting on Windows 2008

Hi,

On my Windows 2008 server today the Web and Print Pooler server will not start because the HTTP service will not start (see errors below) I have checked 2x other Windows 2008 servers and there is not a HTTP service to start and stop?

Looking at there dependancies they required the "HTTP" and "Remote Procedure Call" system components..

any ideas how to repair this error?
Thanks

If this were an XP Machine, I would tell you to export the following key from a similar machine/OS, and import it to this one, and reboot....

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HTTP

Alternatively, you can remove the HTTP dependencies until you get a root cause to determine why it is missing, so that you can restart the other needed services....
