How do I make User-Friendly URL's from my URL's?  Is this possible?   Can I re-direct?

Yep, you can. It is called MOD_REWRITE.

1. Need to compile Apache with mod_rewrite installed.

2. Create rewrite REGEX expressions and add them to httpd.conf or directory .htaccess files.
          RewriteEngine On
          RewriteRule /somefolder$ http://www.mydomain.com/details/ [R=301,L]

You can also place this in your httpd.conf and then turn on logging for you to learn how to configure these. Add this to httpd.conf for your logging:)

          RewriteEngine On
RewriteLog /some location you can write too/rewrite.log
          RewriteLogLevel 9
          RewriteMap escape int:escape

Let us know if you need help installing it. On my way home now.
