Backup Exec 2010 High CPU

I have been ask to see if I can figure this problem out I hope someone out there can help me.

When we start the Beserver.exe service we get 100% cpu and it never starts.

Windows 2008 R2 64Bit. Backup Exec 2010. We need this to backup an Exchange Server 2010.

I see several SQL errors but I am not sure what they mean. The log fills quickly and stops abruptly with  Server Configuration: Getting network configuration. I am waiting on the support information to call tech support I was hoping in the mean time to see what I can do.

Here is a debug log.

You could also try the following steps before you apply the Hot Fix.

These should fix the problem.

WORKAROUND: 1. Stop all services, including the SQL instance.
                                2. Make a copy of the BEDB_DAT.MDF and BEDB_LOG.LDF file.
                                3. Using BEUTILITY, perform a ‘Copy Database’ and point the copy function to the files from step 2.

After step 3 the Backup Exec services can be started.

Refer to the following article for using BEUTILITY to copy database

How to Copy the Backup Exec Database (BEDB) from an existing Backup Exec Server  to a new Media Server with the same or different server name.
