NAS as a file server for roaming profiles

what about configuring NAS as a file server for roaming profiles? do any one have experience eon this?

As long as you can create a network share on the NAS and assign NTFS permissions, storing the roaming profiles on a NAS should be pretty straightforward.  Instructions on how to setup Roaming Profiles can be found at:

Make sure it is a redundant system with good hard drives and a gigabit network card. I tried it once with server 2003 and it was slow. I had a 100Mbps network card.
