how can we convert the page which has custom controls in it...
Like I have used VwdCms:SplitterBar which is a custom control.
It just requires us to add the tagprefix in Web.Config as follows: We do not have any dll/reference to add ... just a js page we need to add

<pages buffer="true">
<add tagPrefix="VwdCms" namespace="VwdCms"/>
Even I have added this in Web.Config but it doesnt seem to recognise the control in the web application aspx page.. Is there a way to do that. Pls advise
Right click the project and click on Convert to WebApplication. After that, most errors will be related to Namespaces. Use the "Object Browser" to check that all your pages, classes and controls are in the Right namespaces.

For the custom control I have a class file which was placed in App_Code folder,
after right clicking and converting to web application it got renamed to Old_App_Code folder and I was not able to recognise the custom control in it.
How to add App_Code folder to Web Application or is there any other alternative to do that ?
In a Web Application Project, you do not need the App_Code folder. Instead, Rename it to something else (e.g. Classes) and include it in the project.
