Backup roaming profiles in SBS2008

Hi Experts,

Just an easy question for you I think.

I use  SBS2008, and windows 7 on the clients.  We use roaming profiles, it works perfect.
But I also want to backup them, my problem is, that the security on each user profile is set to his user, and not to an administrator.
We use Veritas backup exec 12.5

So as admin I don't have rights to look or backup the folders.
What am I doing wrong?
Or is it normal?

There's a computer policy:

Computer Configuration, Policies, Administrative Templates, System, User Profiles, Add the Administrators security group to roaming user profiles

Only problem is that this will only work for new created profiles after you enabled this policy setting....

By default, Roaming Profiles enable the user to have Read & Write Permissions.
If you want to view, then you need to assign permissions to your User Account manually.
What is the specific reason to backup Roaming Profiles ?

Just to backup it, I keep in mind, if the hard disk crashes, or the building goes in fire.
Or when the profile get's corrupted...

That's a perfect answer.
I didn't knew there was a policy for this, thankyou for your advice.
I need to manual give the admin access to the existing profiles first then. damn... :-)
