fax modem for server 2008 64-bit

I need ANY good recommendations for a reliable fax modem for a client with SBS 2008 64-bit.  We were running SBS 2003 with a Brooktrout beautifully, but we upgraded, and Brooktrout is not compatible.  Right now I have a Zoom Mini USB external running the faxes VERY poorly.  I cannot find many resources about this online.  Anyone have any experience with this?  Any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Take a look at the following:
http://www.windowsservercatalog.com/results.aspx?text=fax+modem&bCatID=1282&avc=10&ava=0&OR=5&chtext=&cstext=&csttext=&chbtext=

It lists fax modems that are designed to work with Windows Server editions.  Select the right edition at the bottom left of the screen.

Good luck!

All of these are Fax units, like multi function printers.  I am looking for PCI or USB fax modems.  Any more ideas?

Hi,

They are not all multi-function printers.  I've just spent 2 minutes browsing the site and have found a couple of devices that are x64 compatible modems.  Sometimes Experts Exchange acts as a pointer for you to do some of the work yourself.... In this case you will notice that the '(USR2973-OEM) U.S. Robotics V92 Fax PCI' modem, as an example, is certified for Server 2003 x64.  A quick google search and I have drivers for Server 2008 x64.

Just as a further pointer, in case you don't look hard enough :-), there is an option to select 'Modems' from the list on the left-hand menu, look there also.
