Best screen with for conference room w/ wide viewing angles?

I'm looking for some suggestions as to a good 50" or higher LCD or plasma television (or monitor- it doesn't need a tuner) for use in a conference room (wall mounted, of course.)
Specs must include a higher brightness level, and above all, super wide viewing angles, both horizontally AND vertically. Preferably a price tag under $2,500. The lower the better, but I realize that at the 50"+ size with the angles I want that might be asking a bit much.

In case you're wondering, the building doesn't really do well to accommodate a projector, so that's why I'm looking for a screen.

Not an expert in this subject, but have you thought about maybe a projection system?  Something like this:

As I stated in the question, the room I'm looking to give A/V access to isn't built in a way that I can easily (or aesthetically pleasing) mount a projector and screen.

I've done some more research, and I've discovered what I'm actually looking for is a "large format display." Something similar to this:

I'm actually thinking that that is the screen I will go with, but since this is still a long off project in the planning stages, I will leave the question open for another day or so to allow for additional input.

Sorry, my daughter distracted me while I was reading and missed that part about the projector.  The 520DX should suit your needs fine for the price..   Should be able to find one about $2500 or less.
I think just a regular high-end plasma TV like this one could do the work
Samsung 50" (also available in 58") PN50B850 or PN58B850

I did a lot of research both on the web
and went to many stores for non glaring plasma monitor and TV and by far this seems to be one of the best one.

I know it's not just a monitor, but around 1700$ is quite affordable, cheaper than 520DX
you just get extra tuner and connectors you don't need.

great viewing angles, rich colors, and non glaring (I have a lot of windows in my house and it looks nice)

Hope this helps
