Reccomdation needed: Cold cloning / P2V VMWare solution

Hello Experts.
I am looking for a recommendation for software that meets the following criterion:

SOURCE ENVIRONMENT:
   Windows 2003 servers

TARGET HOST:
   VMWare ESX 3.5.x host

MUST HAVES:
Cold cloning capability (boot from CD, NOT FROM USB KEY)
    Commercial software (I cannot use a freeware/home brew/LiveCD(MOA) solution)
Clone to FILES, not directly to a virtual machine.

NICE TO HAVES:
Support to clone DIRECTLY to an external USB drive
Lack of client software. It would be nice to be able to clone directly to the external USB drive without having to fight with getting a client to send credentials to a server to simply write the image to disk.  (This is the problem I'm facing with VizionCore's vConverter)

PRODUCTS I HAVE ALREADY TRIED or WILL NOT CONSIDER:
    VizionCore vConverter

Thanks in advance for your recommendations and advice!

Platespin may be what you're looking for, however there is a client and the cost may be prohibitive.

ASKER

jgreeny..  Thanks for the info..  Which version of Platespin? I see several on Novell's website, but P2V tools don't look like they are included.
I'm using Portability Suite v8.1.3.  The specific module you're looking is called Migrate.

Migrate looks like it only migrates directly to a VM server. Am I missing something?
