Webcam not working in Firefox but does in IE...

Whenever I go to a site that as an embedded webcam app (such as Facebook) I can't seem to make it work in Firefox, but I can in IE.

Any idea why this is happening?

Firefox needs options enabled for some things and plug-ins installed for others.  Here's a URL for those things.

All the plugins are installed and up to date. That's not the apparent issue.

This is what the page looks like after I click on "record a video" in facebook.

Almost everything I've seen relating to this suggests that you should uninstall Flash Player, restart then reinstall it.  This link has possible solutions.

I was really hopeful about your solution thompsonwireless, but it didn't work.

It appears this may be a firefox 3.6 issue: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forum/1/570476
