Open Sonicwall to new Webroot SAAS email spam/virus solution
We currently are running SBS2008 with Exchange. Our email routes through our Sonicwall router and then on to ExchangeDefender and beyond.
We are switching over to Webroot's equivilent shortly and I confused on what needs to be setup once the mail hits the firewall.
I was thrown into the task on short notice so my expertise is limited. I think I need to setup
1. Inbound access rule (wan to lan) letting Webroot talk to the SMPT service
2. Outbound access rule (lan to wan) letting SMTP talk to Webroot service
3. Create an address object for the Webroot IP addresses that might talk to us
4. Create an address group with the objects in it, then use the group in the access rules
On the Exchange console, I think I only need to create a new smarthost so outbound traffic routes to Webroot
Did I miss anything? Nothing like trying to do this on Friday afternoon!!!!
Thanks!
