Iomega NAS box is not working with my Windows server 2008

Hi All,
I have bit of issue were by I am unable to browse my share on my NAS box from my Windows server 2008.

Windows server 2008 standard SP2 64bit (GC)
Iomega NAS box (I don’t have model handy)

I can access the shares on the NAS box from Windows server 2003 Standard 32bit (DC) by type in run \\share\ but it doesn’t work on my 2008 box!

Do I need to install/add any component/software/roles/features on my 2008 box to enable it to see my NAS box please?

I have theory, I think the NAS box is running on UNIX or Linux and my new windows server 2008 can’t talk to it but I could be wrong :)

Cheers,

Sean

Did you set your Nas to through the windows backup in server 08, because once you do that the device disappears from mycomputer but if your go to disk management the volume should still be there

Nope the NAS box already existed on the network before the 2008 server, I just need to be able to browse it to copy some data directly instead going through my 2003 box.
