Hi All, the subject line pretty much says it all. I have a nice menu with a cool transparency effect. I want to have it Fade In though. Can you help?

Thanks! Works now. :)

I would still switch to the Superfish menu (http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfish/#examples) to get the fade effect you are wanting.

To get the see through effect add "opacity: 0.95;" to the sf-shadow ul class.

Like this:
.sf-shadow ul {
-moz-border-radius-bottomleft:17px;
-moz-border-radius-topright:17px;
background:url("../images/shadow.png") no-repeat scroll right bottom transparent;
opacity:0.95;
padding:0 8px 9px 0;
}

Do you have a working example we can view? You might be able to use JQuery to create the effect, but why spend hours recreating the wheel when there are thousands of free scripts out there that do the same thing.

Here is just one script: http://plugins.jquery.com/project/Superfish
Here are the examples: http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfish/#examples

I did see and test the files, thank you... but they don't work. Here is a screen shot.
