asp.net 'generate' PowerPoints dynamically (using template)

Hi

First of all I'm not a asp.net person at all. I'm just looking for suggestions or links :)

I have a need of generating PPT using web page. So when a user clicks 'Generate PPT' button it opens PPT template, extracts data ('refrehes links'?) from SQL Server and presents it to the user?

Is that possible/easy to do in asp.net?

Many thanks in advance

Hi

Thanks for the link. I have visited 'demo' and it looks great for certain projects however there is one small issue. I would like to preserve PPT template settings and just refresh data.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Emil,

I think this should be possible, please see this comment from the forum - http://www.aspose.com/community/forums/98545/text-formatting-changes-when-replacing-fields-int-a-template-ppt-file/showthread.aspx#98545, although I have not tried this myself.

Hi

Thanks for the link. That might work however I understand I need to purchase aspose product? I'm not sure if that is possible with asp.net but I though that I can create ppt object using template and either refresh links or somehow populate data for graphs and then present to user? It might not be so easy or possible but I think that is more what I am after.

Many thanks for links so far; it is good to know this is available:)

Regards
Emil
