Microsft .Net Framework vs Windows versions & Edition support

Dear colleagues,

I am looking for a table showing the Microsoft .Net Framework versions against the Windows platforms, versions and Service Packs, on which they are supported.  I have been looking on Microsoft web site but cannot find anything suitable.

Any information on ASP including ASP.Net vs Windows platforms, versions and Service Packs support, will be appreciated.

I am still searching the Internet myself and will share any information found.

Thanks very much in advance.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have accepted this solution because it is the only document close to the problem that I am trying to solve. The document could be best written but for now, that will do. There are other articles in EE that could complete it.
