I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

can't you just save the project to a share on your network? Or a SharePoint site or any other location where both of you have access?

Not sure if I got your question right...?

Have you heard of project server?

:)

Sure, and I've been using Projectserver since 2000...

So my answer would be yes, you can use Projectserver to share a project schedule, have many people access the project and even do updates via task tracking or timesheets. I'm just not sure if this is an overkill for a single project as it requires installing SharePoint Services on a Windows Server with SQL Server, then Projectserver, then configuration. That's not done within a few hours but a serious and functional implementation takes a few weeks to months.

Please let me know if you need more details on Microsoft's EPM solution!
