Are you sure it says scd not sdc?

The SDC is a MAC term used for partitions, so I suspect this relates to a boot volume on one of your partitions. At 26Mb I am not sure whether it is better left.

If it is indeed scd, then I have never heard of an scd file under MAC. I still would be hesitant to delete it though.

It is likely the EFI partition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EFI_System_Partition.
Boot Process for Intel Macs:http://refit.sourceforge.net/info/boot_process.html

If I were you, I wouldn't delete it. But if you had to I would back up - everything - before attempting to do so.

Hope that helps.
