Windows Driver for LG Env2 phone

I have a Verizon n LG env2 cell phone. When I originally bought it I was planning to use it's 8gb add-on memory card to store my music for use as an occasional MP3 player in the car. I do not wish to use Verizon software for synching music to my PC b/c it wants me to buy stuff all the time. I would just as soon as use windows explorer to copy files to folders on the memory card, but the UI on the phone does not navigate by folder like my old MP3 player did. There are free drivers out there on suspicious, unoffiial sites, and I have worries about inheriting some viruses. Any experience w/this out there, experts?

Here are the windows drivers for the env2 (and VX9100).

I have been using BitPim for over 5 years and, once you get used to it, it will do about anything: It doesn't specifically list the Env2; but, will probably work: http://www.bitpim.org/

ASKER

I looked at the website for bitPim and it looks promising. Env2 is same as VX9100. I will Give BitPim a try in the next day or so when I have a few minutes.  Looks promising.

Does anyone know what file / folder structure is used for ENV2 playlists?
