open source Corel Draw Alternative

Hello Experts.    Can anyone suggest an Alternative to Corel Draw  that I can use to design  my artwork  and then submit to the printing guys.  They will need to be able to open it in Coreldraw.  I  see  suggestions of Inkscape, scribus  and Gimp.   Any advice?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The closest I got to in the past was to just simply use Openoffice Draw. Using the .wmf format to pass between CorelDraw and Openoffice Draw, exporting/importing between the two. Not flawless though.

Hello there,    Thanks for your response  and sorry for the delayed feedback.   I found that Inkscape will  open  corel files as well as  save in wmf format.  I found though that I have to use  a combination of draw and inkscape.  Thanks for your help.  The wmf  tip was key.
