PowerEdge 2850 Hard Drive Recognition

I just purchased a PowerEdge 2850 with two 73 gig Hard Drives.  I set it up under Raid 1 and initialized it.  It shows up on the raid config utility but when I go to set up the OS - it can't find any drives to install to..

Thanks in advance for your help

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It must be set up by the RAID controller and Initialized first, so you are half way there.  Now, you need to load the RAID driver at F6 from floppy.

Yes, I am using the evaluation copy of 2003 with the hope of installing 2008 Enterprise on top of it.. only because my cd rom does not like DVD's for some reason (both DVD (+) and (-) could not be recognized.

If the optical drive is not an option ... this works like a charm for doing a fresh install of 2008 ...

I was still in going through a laundry list of approaches due to the fact that the evaluation copy wanted a key code..  Thanks so much - I will give that a try.
