I dont need equations to be evaluated dynamically. I was looking for an alternative to flash since I thouight FLASH was an overkill for my simple needs. Is there a tool other than flash to do the things I described in my first post above?

If I was developing a web site for a solutions manual and needed to use a minimal amount of graphics/animation, example show a box of mixed colored balls and a ball being drawn randomly or a card being picked randomly out of a deck which tool would be the best? Would it be ADOBE FLASH or would that be overkill for my needs ? How would I embed math equations similar to LATEX &nbsp;capability with such an graphics/animation tool?
