Blackberry appointments all one hour behind, but only on one user device, and email timestamp ok.

Hi all,

We have 5 BB users, running a variety of devices (8100, 9000, etc). One 8100 user this morning said their time was 1 hour out, and that their appointments were also an hour our. Resetting the time didn't help, the time zone is fine (GMT +10 Canberra, Sydney). Tried resetting the device and re-activating, no good. The PC time is fine. Other BB users are fine. The 8100 is set to sync time via Blackberry network.

We have DST next weekend but if this was a DST issue wouldn't all devices be affected? I have an older 8100 and it's fine.

We also have Exchange 2007 on Server 2008. Running Blackberry Manager 4.1.4.15.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

There is a BB DST update for the 8100 for syncing with Exchange and outlook. Maybe the other devices have it installed.

Bl**dy thing, same issue after installing the 2007 DST patch! Even reset the device again and re-ran the enterprise activation. No good. Any further ideas as to why this particular user/device is having issues?
For all you Aussies out there, this is also a Telstra device so I can't just update it from the BB site like every other civilised company allows you to.

I've now noticed that the time also keeps resetting back an hour, to an hour before the one stated as Network Time in the Date/Time settings. We're using Blackberry setting to get the time, not Network. Mine is set to the same settings as the problem device, and I'm fine. Also have checked and mine and the problem device have the same software version. (v4.2.1.101).
Hard reset the device?
How do you do that?
If you mean from the Security Settings menu, I already did that, before and after I did the DST update.
Yep, did that twice.
