Joomla Content crossfader component

Hi,

does anyone know which component for Joomla has been used on this site:
http://www.rockettheme.com/extensions-joomla/rokquickcart

If you click on any item in the menu on the right (such as "installation" or "documentation") the content in the central coloumn crossfades and expands/contracts the page as required (thus, maintaining the distance with the footer).

Which component for Joomla can do this?

thanks in advance

Hi badwolfff,

just had a short talk with one of the rockettheme guys and the content fader is a special custom functionality they created for their website.

The transition effect can be achieved through using MooTools, have a look at the following MooTools collection:
http://web-kreation.com/index.php/articles/48-incredible-mootools-sripts/

It shouldn't be too difficult to add your desired effect to your page, if you need help, let me know!

Regards, Sascha

Hi Swafnil,

i tried your suggestion by using the latest version of mootools on my joomla site but I still can't get it to work.
Is there any email where I could send you the link to my site so that you may have a look at what I have done. Also you may have access to source code if that helps you identify the problem.

So far whatever I do when i click on a menu item the page changes normally and no transition occurs.

thanks in advance

Then I wonder how one should help when real remote debugging is necessary to fix an issue. Some members can't expose the code of their applications (even not in parts) to the community because of security concerns but they still need help solving their problems.

I understand the reasons why keeping the question and solution on EE is a good thing but in some cases this just doesn't work. If the resolution of the problem would be posted on EE this should be enough.

Any idea how we should proceed?

i will try to zip a sample joomla site with a database file which any member can install in his computer, especially Swafnil since he suggested he understood how to proceed. That could help?
I will do this over this weekend.

Hi Swafnil,
thanks so much. I managed to get it to work on my own after your original suggestion. There was something wrong in the way I was calling the mootools engine.
It works and I am happy
thanks again
