ASA as a ntp server

Is it possible?  Is it a good idea (for internal use only, of course)?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

ASA can receive NTP but doesn't act as a master server.

We ended up using a switch for it.  NTP serving's really light weight, but as GJHopkins said, its not something that the PIX OS handles.

Yes, you'd not want malformed ntp packets getting into the firewall after all :-)
