When you create the deployment packages, you have to create 64-bit versions as well as 32-bit versions.  Did you do this when the packages were created?
In endpoint you have different install packages.
There are some for desktops, laptops and servers that cater for either 32 or 64 bit o/s

You are possibly trying to install the incorrect version.
Sorry alanhardisty - must have been typing at the same time!!!
No worries - it happens.  At least we are saying the same thing : )

What version of Endpoint protection are you trying to install?

Have you generated 32-bit and 64-bit installation .exe files?

Hi,

As I have already posted the procedure to create 64 bit package:

Please follow these steps to create a 64 bit client install package:
1)Open and log into Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager
2)Select Admin
3)Select the 11.0.5002.0 package you wish to deploy (either WIN32BIT or WIN64BIT)
4)Click on Export Client Install Package
5)Enter the folder location for the client package
6)Select Settings and Features desired and Policy settings and Mode and click on OK

IN step 3, select Win 64 bit package. (if there are totally 2 package listed then 2nd package should be 64bit package)

The package can then be deployed via the Migration and Deployment Wizard
