"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

We have a church database management system called Arena. Our current mail server is called Mdaemon. Mdaemon has built in odbc functionality. We use odbc in Mdaemon to automatically add people to email lists when entered into specific groups in Arena. Like allstaff emails or emails to our elders. We are currently switching to Exchange Server 2007. I'm trying to accomplish the same results with Exchange Server 2007.

Exchange is based on Active Directory so each user that needs a mailbox should be created in AD, you can create dynamic distribution groups in a way that users are added to distribution groups depending on a specific field in AD
