Backup Exec 11d not showing networked selection list

We're running Backup Exec 11d on a Windows Server 2003 that also runs our Exchange server.  We can no longer see the networked selections in the selection list - just the ones local to the computer running Backup Exec.  How do we fix that?  Or do we need to just delete the selection and recreate it?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Removing and recreating slection should do the job, so long as you can recreate the selections.  Might be worth creating a new job and see if you can add selections to it.

Have you had any databases errors?  I've seen failed backups with references to the database being inaccessible before now and have found that it was because there was corruption in it.

If the problem persists you might want to look deeper into possible causes.

I did recreate the job and selection, but no luck.  The selection list keeps disappearing.  We'll be virtualizing soon and primarily backing up to the cloud, but will continue to use Backup Exec for our permanent retentions.  If this continues to be an issue at that time, we'll re-address it.
