Outlook 2003 Shortcuts Disappear

I have about 5 years that keep complailning that their Outlook Shortcuts keep disappearing.  They are NOT using any special characters in the names of the shortcuts and I have tried removing the username.xml file and then letting it be recreated.

However they keep disappearing.  Any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi commenq,

Please see the following:

We resolved the problem by backing
up the outlook.xml file once and include the copy job in the login script.
The login script copies the file every time when the user starts up his PC to
the correct folder on his machine.

The file is located in drive:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook for XP users and for Vista users the file is located
in drive:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook if you use roaming
profile.

Hope this helps, please let me know.
