OWA Exchange 2003 - How to Modify Contact Information

Hello Everyone,

I would like to know if I can add additional fields in the GAB user contact info in OWA? For example, if I search a user in the GAB, and open his user contact info, I would like his FAX information to be added to his phone list and so on.

Is there a way to do this on exch 2003? (I'm the exchange admin, so I have full rights)

Thanks!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello,
In AD under the Telephones tab, ensure the Fax field is populated, then in the GAL properties of the said user on the Phone/Notes tab, the Fax field will then be populated also.
I hope this helps

Whoops, sorry, looks like that info doesn't get populated :)
The OWA Web Admin tool is your best bet but i'm sure this isn't suitable:-

Hmm, yeah, I'm not seeing any configuration options in that admin tool to modify the attributes I'm needing to change. But thanks anyways.

Has Powershell sent you back into the Stone Age?

If managing Active Directory using Windows Powershell® is making you feel like you stepped back in time, you are not alone.  For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why.

Hello,
This appears to be core Exchange 2003 functionallity and cannot be changed. Not saying that this is not possible of course, I'm sure any support from Microsoft will be void as a result.
Cheers

Hmm, thanks Michaellan for clearing that up. Does your organization use exchange 2007? If so, what are the default attributes listed for a users contact info. Also, do you know if the 2007 attributes can be modified?
