How do you delete distributions on an AS400

When backing up the document library of the AS400 (SAVDLO), 1000's of distributions are backed up from years ago. These distributions have a sender ID and address and description, but I can't find anywhere how to delete these. I've looked at all directories using navigator, but can't find them. Anyone know how to get to them and delete them? Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I've already tried the first 2 links. I've keyed in the programs from the third link and they appear to have done something, but I'll have to wait till this weekend when I back up the files again to see if it worked.
