You did not mention what operating system you were running, however if your running any kind of *nix system you can use vnstat which is a very good internet traffic monitoring program.<br />

I have a client with 3 different locations and 3 different internet connections. They are all run on static IP addresses. I am trying to find a way for me to be able to query those connections, and notify me via SMS or email when they are down. Anyone have any ideas on this?
