Excel template for displaying the resource allocation to various projects in a team?

There are three projects (and each project have three sub components) in the team, and there are four people assigned to various components in these three projects. Any good excel template to display this kind of team resource allocation? BTW, I do not need to track the project (no start date/end date is necessary). Thanks.

Hello heyday,

What do you want to track then?

Seems to me you just need to build a simple table

Project 1
             Subcomponent1
                         John
                         Mary
                         James
             Subcomponent2
                         Martin
                         Anna
                         Bill

etc. What is it that I'm not getting? Do you want to sum anything? Allocation percentage? Total allocation per person? What is missing?

cheers, teylyn

I don't need to track anything. I just need a good excel template to have a good visual effect (to display projects and their assigned people). Thanks a lot.

Maybe you need to part with a bit more information about what you would actually like to see?

"Projects and their assigned people" is maybe a bit too vague, because nobody here seems to understand what data you want to show.
