I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you using any third party tool for backup???
PuneetKSaxenaAuthor Commented:
No I want to use the Windows backup tool itself.
But my aim is to schedule a backup of a specific folder rather than the whole system.
I am unable to do that.
Please let me know if this can be done by the Windows tool itself.
Else, I will have to look for a VB script for the same.

Thanks in anticipation.

I was able to schedule the backup of specific folders in windows system.
This can be done by Windows tool ntbackup.exe itself. The advanced options of this tool help us with the same.
The ntbackup.exe can also be scheduled via command line with specific parameters to execute the backup.

For more details on ntbackup.exe parameters, check link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814583
