How can I read tiff image header and determine if the tiff image file contains mulitple pages of images?

Can someone please enlighten me?

I have an MS Access 2007 form that can view images, but I have thousands of TIFF images to view, and some are multi page, and many others are single page.

Thanks in Advance!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Thanks for the tip deisrobinson, but what I need is a progmatic way using ms access 2007 vba to access these functions, not a stand along utility such as the tifftags utility I tired.

Unless I saw and looked at the wrong thing.  (if so please let me know)

Thanks

I ended up finding Microsoft Office Document Imaging or MODI which comes with Office, and was able to find coding examples online

hope that helps others,
