Not sure about where the Shared Mode setting is. &nbsp;But, &nbsp;I can tell you that I have never seen that setting and this is the first time that I am aware of that any owner/site user has had this problem.<br />

I will check the audience target setting. &nbsp;But again this is the only person with this problem and these are the out of the box web parts.

I am administering a SharePoint 2007 farm and a user with Owner rights is not presented with much of a list of Web Parts when he logs in.  I logged in to his site and see that when I edit the page and select add web parts I am presented with a few pages worth.

I checked and he seems to have all the rights that he might need.
