Apple iTunes upgrade to 9.03.15 caused a loss of iTunes Store Acess - iTunes now Hangs

Apple iTunes for Microsoft Windows XP has been functioning flawlessly until last week. We did the upgrade to version 9.03.15 through the Apple Updater, ever since the upgrade we can no longer access the iTunes Store. We have performed a removal, reinstall. We have tried a Removal using the Microsoft Cleanup Tool, we have removed all the folders, we have done a roll back to the previous version but still no iTunes Store Access. We have contacted Apple Support, although they have heard about the problem recently, they have no fix or work around.

We have disabled the local Windows firewall. Tried to access Apple iTunes Store in another network, still no access.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I just found the solution:

Windows XP:

Quit iTunes.
Open the Start menu.
Choose All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
At the command prompt, type the following (including the quotation marks):
"C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /removePref storefront

This solved the problem.
