Can I migrate Small Business Server 2003 Exchange mailboxes to Microsoft BPOS?
In the MS white paper on migration to bpos or the bpos forums, or the technet site do I find any mention of SBS 2003. I do not assume that just because Exchange 2003 can make the migration that the SBS version can. Can anyone speak to this that has 1st hand knowledge?
Background Info: Our server is beyond it's life but still hanging on. (Dell PowerEdge 600SC) Yes, there is a plan to replace it late this year. In the meantime.... In an effort to relieve the pressure on the server I want to migrate our users to an online email solution. I am looking at Google Apps and BPOS. The BPOS solution would be the least painful for the end user post-migration since they are already using OWA and is the option of choice due to the fear of loss of productivity learning to use Google Apps. We are a small firm of 15 with limited resources that works in a highly mobile environment. Going to an online solution for email is part of the master plan. I am open to your expert advice and or recommendations.
