Active Sync error 0x85030027

Hello.

I have some problem with my Active sync/push mail from my sbs 2003 to my HTC mobile.

On the mobile I get the following error:
0x85030027

But I have installed the cert on the phone eventhrow it has been working for days, but suddently it stops working.

I dont know what to do, any idea?

Could this have anything to do with a error I had last day that returns in some change in the exchange server. (http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/Q_25388604.html)

Microsoft tells:
This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

    * You have not enabled certificate-based authentication for Exchange ActiveSync.
    * The Ignore Client Certificates option under the Client certificates setting is not enabled in the Iisadmpwd virtual directory.

Has Powershell sent you back into the Stone Age?

If managing Active Directory using Windows Powershell® is making you feel like you stepped back in time, you are not alone.  For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why.

Whats about to disable the client cert? There's a tool from MS to do this.

If you are using a certificate that is not trusted, you can disable certificate validation on the device by running the CertChk.exe tool. The Disable Certificate Validation tool is part of the Exchange 2003 All-in-one Tools package available from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=E0F616C6-8FA4-4768-A3ED-CC09AEF7B60A&displaylang=en  Please see the readme that is provided with the tool for more information.

BTW here's a nice place to look for ActiveSync errors with answers.

Hmmm RAPI.dll is part of ActiveSync. Install the latest ActiveSync from here

Does the SSL is enabled on the Default Web Site? If yes, then disable it and restart the server.

Hi,

Refer this article:

Before making any changes to IIS. Take the Backup of the IIS.
