MSMQ WatcherThreadFunc() error - EAIEventLog

We started getting system halts around 3/19/2010.  Each time this occurs, after restarting the system, we find a slew of entries in the application event log, occurring every second, lasting for minutes.  Event ID is 104; entry is EAIEventLog.  Message is:
Event Type:      Error
Event Source:      EAIEventLog
Event Category:      Devices
Event ID:      104
Date:            3/30/2010
Time:            5:56:12 PM
User:            N/A
Computer:      WHALEY04
Description:
MSMQ Status: WatcherThreadFunc(): COM Exception Error.

Anyone know what might be causing this?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
