"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This may be a memory issue. Run a diagnostics on the memory. Should be one when you boot up or in the BIOS.

Might be able to download a memory tester. http://hcidesign.com/memtest/ for example

Start with that. Other ideas will follow in this post.

Have you added anything recently ? (hardware/software)
What was happening just before the error?

I'd download, install and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (www.malwarebytes.org) as this can detect a number of nasties that could be running on the machine.
