I have an exchange sevrers 2007 setup with and edge server. All works fine but I have failing my email because it does not accept mail from a null sender.

Where do you allow this or do I even bother?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Don't bother - it's not essential.

Sorry - hold that thought - just checking.  Might have my brain a little confused.

Well it is technically a requirement of RFC 1123 that you accept blank mail senders, but as most blank mail senders are spammers - I would not lose sleep over not being able to accept blank sender addresses - thus spam!
