ip mobile arp

hi guys, i have few MPLS sites,  i am trying to configure IP MOBILE ARP so that i can move a server from one site to the other wihout changing an ip address or dg on that server and still have users be able to reach it.

this is what i found:
1. on the site to which server is moving i have to configure ip mobile arp under the ethernet interface pointing to lan and redistribute mobile / default-metric 80 70 60 70 100 under the routing process.
i did and not seeing  a mobile route, thanks for ur help.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think you have it covered. Has this server been connected to the new LAN? Can you try initiating a connection from the Server on a new LAN?

As a workaround you should be able to configure a static host route as shown below and then redistribute static into your routing process...

ip route <server_ip> 255.255.255.255 <LAN_inf>
