How do you determine if your on x86 or x64 version of Linux

I need to get a server but I was ask if I want 64 or 32 and we have a local server, and I look every were online and in the system to find out what version my local server is but found nothing. All I know is am running Cent OS 5.3, my question is 5.3 32 bit or 5.3 64 bit. My GUI is Gnome
